[Mason] The Great Scituate Area!

Ok, so this last week was pretty legit!

We set 2 baptismal dates for June 14,
Frank, a former investigator who returned and said he misses the church and wants to get baptized
Patricia, Mother was a LA, but now has returned, Spanish! though she prefers english,

We are planning on Setting another date with Her little sister who we just met yesterday! and also one with Sandy, who also attended church, and perhaps Frank's Girlfirend/Wife....The laws here say they are married but they aren't...

This week was so legit! We skyped some people in Ukraine and taught them the Restoration and one of them is interested in learning more, and also I found this guy in Nancy, France that is also interested in learningmore, so we will hopefully teach Him again this week! The Digital Mission is so Cool. We have over 400 something investigators as a mission as a whole, so about 30 companionships proselyting online, and we are one of those! it is so sick! All of the leaders in the mission have to be doing it, but now that i look at it, it is a blessing, because so many of the people we are finding have nerver heard of the church let alone seen missionaries before! its so fun!

This week was transfers and we are staying together! woot woot!

Thursday we were in the Ashford Elders arear almost all day because there was a street fair called Third Thursday, and every 3rd Thursday over every summer, they have this giant fair! We were there because we were proselyting it with our Portable Visitors Center that our mission has developed! so many potentials, so many soap-box opportunities, so much contacting, so much fun!

Also, this week we have MLC coming up and it is on saturday, and we will be having a special guest, I will not tell, until last week, but He is a Special Witness of Christ! we will be having just the leadership meet with Him, because He wants to answer some of our questions and just teach us and Be with us! This Special Guest Loves our Mission and Visited Last May! I shall telly ou next week!

Um let me see, We are doing so good here in scituate, The Lord is blessing us with so much work.

We went to the Temple today and Had the Missions Recent Converts all come today, so We saw many of our good Friends and other aquaintances and it was delightsome! the Baptistry was Full!!!
We had a chance to do some Initiatories!

The mission is doing well! I am Doing well! what more could I ask for?

Hello!

This week was pretty normal, except for the fact that we had exchanges. Oh yeah, and I am in a walking boot now haha. So that took a toll on our week a bit. We have been struggling to find people to teach, we really only have one investigator named Bertha who is to be baptized this upcoming Sunday they 31st, but other than her we have nobody! It is hard to baptize weekly without any investigators! So we are trying on that front, talking with everyone and asking referrals from everyone,

This week we helped a member pack up a moving truck because they are moving to Utah. Our Ward seems to be shrinking, but one incredible note about my ward is that 4 of the past 5 weekends, 1 or 2 families have been sealed in the temple. There are so many sealings happening it is very exciting.

Today we had our stake wide event called the Elotada, so I got to see all of the wards I have been in and talk with the members I have
become good friends with. I really love those people I have served in the past few wards, and I miss them a lot! I talked with Axel, and he is doing well, he is working on his mission papers currently.

On exchanges this week I brought our District Leader Elder Cahoon up with me to my area, and we had a pretty good day. We got to go and give a blessing to a neighbor of a member in our area who is in intensive care currently. It was a very humbling experience. I am grateful for the health that I have.

I honestly do not have much more to report on for this week. I love you all and am grateful for the support you give me!

Hello!

This week was action packed! Wow! First off, we started off with our P-Day last week, where we went and hiked to a waterfall. It was a fun hike, there were boulders everywhere, so we basically were rock climbing forms ton of it. I enjoyed it a lot, but it was hard for my shoulders, so I ended up avoiding the hard/ fun parts.

This week we had a Zone conference, in which we learned about the importance of believing that we can baptize. It was very inspirational and motivating. My companion Elder Dougherty and I are striving now for our area to be able to baptize weekly.

This week at a dinner appointment with a member, I got to help them with the word of wisdom. The father was recently baptized as of 5 months, and his daughter occasionally enjoyed the good old fashion cup of Joe (coffee). So with her watching me and laughing and the approval of her parents, I slowly dumped out a container of coffee into the trash. I spoke with her on Sunday, and she mentioned that she had withdrawals, but that she wasn't drinking it anymore. It was awesome!

I interviewed a 9-year-old this week for her baptism. It was so great! Her name is Samira, she was so funny, and understood every question I asked her. She gave details, examples and testimony for every baptismal question. I am still impressed! Ha!

Bertha the wife of a recent convert is going to be getting baptized the 31st of this month. It was so exciting for her to make that decision. We were talking about obedience and we read D&C 82:10. Things finally clicked for her, and she made the decision to skip work on Sunday's for a few hours so that she could come to church.

On Saturday we were asked to guide a tour of the temple. It was super duper fun! A lot of people came, and we had a blast! I hope I can do another one on my mission. We also attended a baptism of an investigator that Elder Dougherty found over a year ago. For over a year, Brandon (that is his name) has fought to overcome his trials and problems, and finally made it to the waters of baptism.

Last week I neglected to mention that I was asked by Joel, recent convert and husband of Bertha, to confer upon him the Aaronic Priesthood. I had never done it before, and had thirty seconds to learn how. It went well. Yesterday as well, I conferred the Aaronic Priesthood upon Sandro, another recent convert. I am so grateful do that privilege I was given by both of them.

Our hiking group. Elder Yazzie is the Elder in the front on the right side. (Blue and red shirt)
We went and did the same hike today as well, and we went farther. We found the "Waterfall" but it's dried up now. It was fun! We did some pulling at the top, and Elder Yazzie and I tied every time. He is a foot taller than me. We both were unbeaten. Boom.

This week was hard, but full of work and Miracles! Keep pressing forward!

[Mason] ....Lame...

So yesterday was Mothers Day and I skyped with my Family. I suppose that Next week I will have a nice long email again.

Some food for thought.

Ponder on your relationship with your Father in Heaven. Is it where you want it to be? Can He trust you? Does He trust you? Do you trust Him?

Upon answering these questions, I pray that we all can learn of the things that are holding us back and give them up so the Lord can trust us.!

Hello!

This week was super great! To start off the week, we had to go and sit down on our Preparation Day and fill out stake reports. Stake reports are basically reports to for the Stake President to help him know where the wards are at, and how the wards are doing with missionary work. On Tuesday we had our Mission Leadership Council, which was amazing! We learned so much about planning, but also about prayer. I learned that I need to be more specific in my prayers regarding missionary opportunities. For example; Do I pray to teach lessons? Do I pray for baptisms? Do I pray to see and love others as God sees and loves them? Good questions right? I am striving to pray with more faith.

After our Mission Leadership Council, we drove to the stake center to have a meeting and discuss the stake reports with the Stake President, and mission President. It went well. Wednesday we taught our zone what we learned in MLC. It is more interesting teaching with a companion now on these meetings.

We went on exchanges with the assistants on Thursday, I stayed in my area and Elder Wagstaff came with me. Fun fact, we were both trained by the same Elder. We had a good day, and I learned a lot from him. We also did exchanges on Saturday with one of the district leaders in our zone, Elder Lopez. I went with him, and taught him a few things about accountability, it has been difficult to get reports from him abouthis district. It turned out to be very beneficial for him, he opened up a lot about different things that are going on.

We had a Mother's Day activity, which we, the missionaries, set everything up. It turned out well! I served as a waiter again. There was a professional Mariachi band that came. It was a fun time.

To top off the week, I was provided with the blessing of talking to my parents for the last time over Skype on my mission. I loved every moment of it. The love I have towards my parents and family has grown so much on my mission. I love you Mom and Dad! And everyone else to! Happy Mother's Day!

This is Hno Trejo. I was given the blessing to get to know him and his family on my last area in Anaheim. We re-activated him again. I saw him this week when I stopped by to see my former companion to pick up something from him.
