This week started off great with some great appointments and what not. Then we had Mission Leadership council in the Weston Chapel in the Boston Stake, and it was fantastic. very spiritual and just what i needed.
Thursday we had District meeting and spent all day planning out the zone meeting, even though we will be holding the meeting after transfers which are this Wednesday.
Friday was phenomenal, because we met with the Almodovar family of 6, and the Branch president and his lovely wife came, and we all taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and at the end of the lesson, we asked them a question a long the lines of What do you have to do to persevere to the End? and the wife, the one who hardly ever pays attention, says well we should probably join the church and get baptized....it was a miracle. we are still waiting on the husband to set a date because of what he has told us, but it was certainly amazing.
Conference was absolutely amazing, and by far priesthood session was my favorite, especially the last 3 talks.
So that was the week except for a very unfortunate event we call T-Texts down here in the Massachusetts Boston Mission, and it turns out that the Lord needs me to go to Scituate, Rhode Island to the English Program as a Zone Leader still, and it is very depressing to me. My people and my language I have to leave behind, but the Lord has summoned me and so I must go.
So this week will be a change up. New state, new companion, and new language, kind of, and lots of white people.....it will certainly be different.
have a great week,
Elder Mason Scott
